What problem did you solve?
Everrati uses the CANedge1 CAN logger throughout the testing and development of restomodded electric vehicles to log data and diagnose vehicle faults across all systems including the battery management system (BMS), motor controller and on-board charger. By continuously logging the vehicle CAN bus, we are able to quickly identify and resolve any faults that occur during testing and field evaluation. Everrati also uses the CANedge in all of our sales and marketing vehicles to better understand our customer use cases - and use this data to inform design decisions for future projects.
How did you solve it?
The vehicle logs are saved and extracted from the SD card and post-processed using the asammdf GUI tool. This tool allows for seamless processing of the data following testing and provides a very clear and easy-to-use UI, which enables efficient and accurate data analysis to identify faults and their root cause.
