What problem did you solve?
We used the CLX000 to read OBD2 data and to "sniff" proprietary OBD2 data (not directly accessible from the OBD standard). The car makers in Brazil have to follow the SAE standard for basic items related to pollution - the rest we have to discover ourselves.
How did you solve it?
We used the CLX000's CAN streaming functionality and Wireshark to stream OBD data and trying to identify the meaning - a tough task! We used the data for vehicle predictive maintenance applications, e.g. identifying soon-to-be exhausted batteries
